Hi Steve, you asked for serious crit so here goes (my opinion i know) the image first then the PP results! I like the image, Nice sky, foreshore adds interest and the reflections on the water are great, overall nice moody image. Second the PP, Bridge yes, Natural light yes, focal length 28mm project says 70-105mm, Outdoors yes, Colour yes, so my only point would be and i have fell for this myself Once! is watch the criteria, if you used 70mm+ you wouldnt have got the wide angle. I fully appreciate it is difficult on a no SLR camera to gauge the focal length as well. Overall though mate nice image. Lets see some more.

I agree with DB here. Its a great image. I like the crop, the colour in the sky is really nice, and the composition works well. The foreground is maybe a tad to dark, but overall it works.

Unfortunately, from the PP point of view is doesnt fit the brief, but hey, rules are always meant to be broken!
