Default Another spider

Photographers Comments
Been doing a lot of spiders lately mainly because of easy accessability. Seems ike there is a lot of them around this year. Caught this garden spider about to have a meal of one of the crab spiders.

Hi Mary, there is a lot of additional info and detail in this shot that just needs a push on contrast and a bit of sharpening to make it pop. A lot of drama in this, well done.

Thanks Peter- I did as you suggested and it is greatly improved. I had done some sharpening and contrast adjustment but it was obviously not enough. Part of the challenge on this one was that i was shooting through the spiders web- makes for a kind of hazy look.

That should have been the obvious conclusion I failed to think of! I knew there was something influencing the contrast, now it makes sense. It is very effective and adds to the shot.
