Well you have now completed 5 posts, so you are now allowed to upload. First things first - what sort of photo editing software do you have installed on your computer, we can then be a bit more direct with instructions.

Hi Julia, To prepare a image for this forum it must be smaller than 256kb. To archive this in CS2, open your image, then click on 'Save for web' which is under the File menu. You will then find a box called 'Image size' click on this and make the longest side of your image 800 px making sure that the box called constrain proportions is ticked first, then click on Apply. Over on the left hand bottom on this window at the bottom you will see the file size, if it is still above 256kb then you will need to reduce the Image Quality using the slider until you get it just below 256kb. And finally click on Save.
Only drawback with this way of doing it is that you will not show the exif information with your image.
The other way of preparing a image and still keeping the exif information is to open up your image, then adjust the Image size to 800px along the longest side, then click on the 'Save As' choosing jpeg as your format, you will then see the file size, adjust the slider so that you get a file size just under 256kb .
Any problems, just let us know.
