hi my name is Andy and im from Devon, my first time here and would just like to say hi,if i get it wrong pls let me know as am complete novice with digital camera and would like constructive help not destructive lol i do the destructive bit very well on me own lol

thanks for hello greeting am hopefully going to have fun and improve my photography but getting the hang of some of the editing software is a kin nightmare not that easy to use, i want to alter change lighting effects and learn how to layer to compose some images like some ive see online the are so brilliant and i want to be able to do this any surgestions on an easy to use software? many thanks Rew

As for software would have to go for Photoshop (hears groans of dissapproval) and for brushing up on your editing skills i can thouroughly recommend the Image Factory, then again i would say that as i'm the Editor....HAHAHAHAHA....
