Genese it's not fright, it's incompetence. I used the D80 for a bit and now I seem to have got everything mixed up. I did think of selling it and going back to a point and shoot, but now I think I will give it another go. Back to the manual I guess and start again.
I am loving this place, thanks everyone again for the welcome and interaction.

Pat...I'll buy your D80....of course, it would have to come with a substantial discount, seeing it's been handled with incompentence and all

it all comes with time and obsession and sitting around waiting something wonderful to happen and messing the settings up! then spending 4 hours trying to figure out what the hell you did i did it all many moons ago with the eos600 a very expensive way of learning
