Hi there
My name is Steve I'm new to this site so I thought I would take the plunge and introduce myself.
I'm also new to Digital photography having just purchased a Nikon D-80 with a couple of kit lenses but do not have any decent imaging software.Thanks Paul for your advice on photoshop. In the mean time I will just have to get things correct in camera.
Look forward to posting some pics soon.

I guess we are all new here and all regardless of level are still learning. Welcome, have fun and invest in some processing software asap.

Thanks for your reply Alistair, saving the pennies for Photoshop I think although not sure which version.

Hi Steve, Go for the best you can afford, CS 3 is the latest, for photographers, it isn’t necessary to go for the extended version. Elements is a cut down version but is a lot cheaper. I’m sure the Adobe web site will have a comparison table.
