Hi,looking forward to chatting and exchanging news and views with you all.

fairly new to digital having bought my first camers 2 years agoo and upgrading 1 year ago.

I have become very passionate about my photography but often feel frustrated, having taken what I feel is a reasonable picture but unable to bring the best of it out in photoshop.

Still I keep trying and one day may just feel satified with what I produce.

Hi Trev, and welcome to our forum, we are getting a good build up of Nikon owners now

. I think we all feel that some of our own images need a bit of perking up, and other peoples look great. Anyway we will look forward to seeing some of your work in the gallery's soon, and hopefully you will get constructive comments back which will help us all out, as we all learn from each others photos here.

Welcome to the site. A great site here, full of fun, friends learning and sharing. Sunday appears to be a bit of a mad day, (maybe getting over Saturday hangovers).
What part of Essex are you from? I moved here from Harlow about 2 years ago.

Thanks Barry, i look forward to some feedback when I start to post images.
very keen for feedback, good and bad dont mind if people say they dont like it.
I wasin the brecons a couple of weeks ago, Fantastic weekend spent in a bunkhouse at Penstar with some walking buddies.

I am in Colchester. I really like it here though if we could afford it we would like to move somewhere rural. Forest of Dean is our favourite place.

Feedback from other people is great, be it 'I like it lots' or why didn't you remove so and so or darken the sky maybe. As from this feedback I have been able to improve some of my images in a way that I had not thought of.

The Beacons is a lovely part of the world to live in, especially if you are in to the outdoors. Although I do have to travel 100 miles a day to go to work - it's worth it.

We do a lot of climbing there at Symonds Yat, it is also good for mountain biking. Oh and taking photos of trees
