Hello everyone

Hi everyone,

I have just found this site, it looks interesting and signed up immediately. It's a great idea to have a site in the UK. I live in Essex (yes, I've heard all the jokes) with my husband of 39 years. I have a son and a grandson - hence the user name. I work full time in a local solicitors office and therefore do not have as much time for my hobby as I would like

I have been interested in photography for a number of years and now own a EOS 400D and a Olympus 550UZ (which I take with me with we go on holiday on our motorbikes - there's not a lot of room for the Canon!) I am really a beginner but there have been one or two photos I have taken that have surprised me!

I look forward to seeing everyone's photographs in the gallery and will try to post any many comments as time allows

Hi Glen, a very warm welcome to you and glad you found us. I need to get myself a smaller camera for trips like yourself as I'm too worried about something happening to the bigger equipment and then theres the lack of room for it all.
