[PP] Nearly got you! - Speed
Photographers Comments
Speed project, waited for cars to go through puddle and then attempted to get the resulting splash mid air. PP had to be B & W, 70mm focal length.
Method, as it was raining hard put an asda bag round the camera and an elastic band to keep it tight on end of lens. Used UV filter to protect end of lens from splashes, only the filter got wet, then waited.
View On Black
Yes i am at it as well!

Hi Dennis, Good project, I like the image and it has worked well in B&W. But without your description of speed (we would not have worked it out by looking at the image alone). It would have worked extremely well if you had managed to catch the back end of the vehicle in the image. But well done for getting out there and braving the elements.

Cheers Barry, did get a lot with the end of the vehicle in but the splashes were crap! also they were very blurry. this one went through really fast and made the water jump to the right height! I did get a bit wet! Here was the best effort i think the one without the car is better
