Default Red Angel 1

Photographers Comments
From the childrens gala today. This is a stilt performer. I liked the lighting on the red outfit but the background was not good, so I decided to go for black for a bit of drama!

No critique but just to say that the black background works really well

Thanks John, I am not too up on processing skills so this was an interesting learning curve for me!

Pete, love it but find the red border distracting, when you view 800px it makes the image seem smaller when you border it, other than that brillo!

Thanks Denny, I decided to border it because the wings straddle the whole frame. I'll try one without but I expect it will work either way depending on personal preference.

Cheers, Peter

Good call on the black background, mate, works really well!! As for the border, try using a thinner one, that might work both ways too

Hi Mark, you are right I suspect, the border would be better thinner. Thanks for the suggestion.

Cheers, Peter
