You have a good composition here. The strong lines of the boarding and the benches give it great depth. The sky is too burnt out, and an ND grad filter would have fixed that, but I don't think you can fit one on your camera that you used. There must be plenty of interesting shot locations like this in Harwich - with the docks etc?

Nice shot.
Love the angle of view and the perspective, fantastic!
Improvements for you to consider would be the horizon is a little sloped ( left to right going downhill a wee bit). The sky could do with a bit more detail and a touch more contrast overall.
Nice image. I would be tempted to have a go at a mono HDR with this one because of all that lovely wood!. Plus an HDR may make bringing out the sky detail a little easier. Did you shoot in RAW?
Has the powershot got a RAW option? I'm not familiar with it sorry.
Anyhoooooooooooooo! Like it and welcome again!

Great shot.
Only thing i would say is the sky is burnt out. other than the composition is good, love the lines taking you into the shot.
With this amount of subject matter here, you could really go to town on this and shoot low down and closeup using the perspective along the planks on the floor to create a really nice art shot.
nicely done
PS love the baby shot with toys on your flickr stream!

As already said, this image has worked well in monochrome with those lines of the boards and seats with good detail. If you have got photoshop you could try and adjust the levels within it's own layer to bring detail back into the sky and then mask out the lower part of the image.

Great shot WB. Agree with the other comments on this, just shame bout the sky. I not used PSP for a while, but if memory serves the following should be just a buit like photoshop.
Use lasso tool and select the sky, feather it (amount will depend on original resolution), then use the Levels option to bring back the clouds.
Hope this is ok and hope it works
Mark
