A few weeks back there was a regatta at White Rock ... I stood on the pier waiting for it to start ... for well over 1 hour ... No wind .. lol. . then the sky didnt cooperate either ...

Hello Sailor! Poor You ... the Elements keeping You waiting ... where is that Wind when needed! Grrrrh!
The only advise in this sort of situation Else is a Thermos full of Coffee and a Nut Bar *insane grin* ... waiting an hour is just not fun

Else, good exposure. Tricky one with all the whites and the brightness. I would have been tempted to flip the cam and do some shots in portrait mode to show the mast/sail etc... If you have already then great! this image would add to a series of images of this glorious looking craft

Thank you both for your visit and comments .. Fred is not good at standing around .. I have the patience of Job .. lol .. and I will chat up anyone .. so that kept me busy .. lol .. I don't think that I had time to flip the camera .. on this particular boat but I did take some in portrait format. . I wish that I could have got close-ups with the spinner blowing in the wind .. love the look of that .. but .. the wind would not oblige .. dang it .. lol ..
