Was at our friends tonight at a BBQ, and was playing with six year old and his dad in a paddling pool. Had slight accident which saw me face down in the pool briefly. Next spent over 3.5hrs in A&E only to find I damaged ligaments in shoulder, and possibly chipped a bone in my wrist. Now got possible 4 weeks of work, and so can't drive anywhere.

Worse still, no photographs to be taken since I not be able to set up or use camera!

Fed up now! not really had any alcohol, so makes accident worse!

No camera, no guitar hero 3 - definitely gutted

Seriously though bud, it sounds like a flippin' nightmare. Hope you are back up and at 'em soon.

Sorry to hear about the accident Spooks. What bad luck. At least the weather's nice enough for you to sit outside. Hope you don't get too down and heal really quickly

Saw fracture consultant yesterday. He seems to think ball joint in shoulder popped out of socket, and has managed to resret itself again. Massive bruising in that area now. He sending me for physio on it.

As for the wrist, I got an unplaced crack fracture - not serious enough for a cast, but got to wear arm brace. At the mo, am signed off for two weeks. just got to see how it goes.
