Hey Len. emotional shots always transcend rules and boundaries. i would have poss upped your iso to maybe 800 and upped your shutter to avoid slight camera shake. bit of a tight crop for me, the eye follows his eyes and move straight off the images. having said all that, the capture of something so innocent is brilliant. he stayed smart for a long time then!? good use of sepia tone. nice work

Thanks Andy

You should have seen the front of his shirt hence the tight crop and this must have been the only quiet moment he had, good day though.

Thanke for the techno comments that's how I'll learn.

techy bits you learn along the way, mostly from making mistakes bit like the time i shot a charity PR involving sainsburys..rushing back to the office and opening up the back of the camera before winding the film back.....
looking for shots that capture the heart and soul of the moment comes from within and you have easily achieved that..

Hi Andy

As I shot this on fully auto.

What shutter speed would you suggest for shots like this
