Did a small venue rock gig at the weekend. It was hard work as there were 4 bands running from 7.30 to gone midnight ..... I was knackered, but I enjoyed it.

I was the togger Nick ..... it's something that not many people do, the small 200 punter venue. I am hoping to expand into this. Lighting is the biggest player & can make or break it in these places. Luckily this one has both good lighting and excellent sound systems. They had just installed a smoke machine which made all the difference to the atmosphere

I learn each time. Lesson from last Sat? ..... EARPLUGS!! ... pardon? ... I said "EEEAAARPLUGS!!!!!!"

Although it's often about the coloured light show I quite like mono shots as well .... more mood?
