Default Busselton Jetty

Photographers Comments
Visited the Busselton Jetty Observatory last a very interesting place to visit. This is one of the pylons covered in coral.

Great composition Karen, if the flare/light is from your flash i would say to try this without flash as it has affected the main body of detail. bumping up the contrast would restore some of it. the colour are wonderful! Its amazing that whatever man does, nature will always outshine..

Thanks for your comment Andy. I must go back and look at the other photos taken as see if I used flash in all of them. Karen

Hi Karen .. this is pretty .. lovely colours and it is a shame about the camera flash .. maybe pack a coffee filter with you .. if you are going to use the flash .. I have even started using my hand over the flash .. lol .. You never know.. it could even be from someone else's camera .. if they are taking a photo at the same time ..
Cheers
Else

Thanks Else for your comment never thought of a coffee filter before but I have used a tissue to cover the lens. Your right about the flash reflection it could be someone else taking a photo at the same time there were plenty of people there trying to get a good photo but I do have to admit that it came of off my camera, I'm still learning the tricks of the trade.

Hi Karen, difficult one this, if you look at your data attached to your pic you did fire the flash. However on your model is this not automatic? or can you stop it if you really have to?

Love the colours, but i am assuming this was through glass as well which never helps when taking a photo!!

Andy is right you could have retrieved some of the detail by bumping up the contrast a bit.

Hope you dont mind had a quick tweak myself.
