Maureen, i know your project stipulated black and white but i bet this would be really good in colour with all the different toys. In B and W it looks too jumbled for me. Sharp enough but my eyes dont know where to look first or last there isnt a focal point of interest for me. What might have worked was all black and white with one toy left colour or perhaps just one colour in the whole box and the rest de-saturated.

Hi Maureen .. these PP are not as easy as I thought that they would be .. and you really learn a few things from each one that you do. Hang in there ...
Cheers

haha...and here, I was thinking, "Glad this isn't in color"..she says, "Sorry Dennis", as she is giggling. I think the B&W brings a smoothness to the chaos. I do agree with Dennis, that there needs to be more of a focal point; maybe if you had arranged the toys, so that more of the faces were showing..more of a theme...I'm seeing pieces of smiles and shiny eyes, but if they could be more intentionally arranged.
Actually, I looking forward to what you come up with on the feminine interpretation that you took the challenge on...another bath/foot scene?

Hi Dennis thanks for taking the time to have a look and comment. I think your right it does look a little jumbled with no real focal point. It was fun to do though and I like the personal project idea gets the old brain thinking and I've learnt something from my first one too

I totally agree with you Fay it does need more of a focal point I actually thought that after I'd posted it. Maybe I'll have another go just to show myself I could do a better job of it.
LOL... I did think about my feet in the bath picture when I took this PP on but no it's not going to be another one of those. I'm still thinking about it and hope to complete it today.
Thanks for taking the time to look and comment Fay
