Photographers Comments
used a different way to desaturate after some very helpful advice. is it an improvement?

I like this the best of the three. (original post, the color version, and this one) The detail in the feathers is incredible, and the eyes really pop. Great job!********** Art

So detailed, it makes me think of a knife with eyes...just look at that hook between his eyes. Especially like the detailing around the eye and down to the hook and onto the throat; one almost expects to see a little feather move; nice to see detailing, even in the very light/fine areas. Learning this desaturation technique is another great notch in your learning curve.
