Phil, that was a real tall order to combine all those things, I would just say it seems dark to me. Other than that great effort.

Looks like a life size shot of half pint (EOS1nr)!! Difficult shot to take, with what is quite a long lens, - you could have opened up the shutter a bit and pushed the exposure a couple of pluses (if canons can do that..lol) to expose more for shrek, but there is something quite atmospheric about it as it is actually, could be a bit sharper too. nice attempt.

Thanks Dennis,
I really should have used a reflector to bounce some light back onto the subject, but I think I would have broken the rules if I had used a fill in flash whereas it was not requested.
That is the beauty of this system, it will definately get people thinking about how they approach the subject.

I think the sunset lighting could be made better use of in this shot. Especially since the colours of the ogre are complimentary with a sunset.
Perhaps you could have taken the shot with the light facing the subject instead of behind.

Hi Debbie,
I agree that there is not a lot about this pic which is technically correct. I think I rushed it to try and complete the set task. (Slaps my own wrist) Thanks for your comments, and I feel I should go back and do this all over again later today. I shall also write out 100 times, I will not rush my homework....lol
