No crit = bad crit ???

I have posted one or two images lately that have got no or very little posts from others... I am just wondering if that means my pictures are not up to scratch or your sick of telling me how great a photographer I am lol...

Just wondered as some pictures get loads of response and others hardly any or non...

Whats your thoughts, I know this has sort of been covered before but do you post if its only good or do you post if its not so good.. Also do you think there is a better time of day to post so that pictures don't fall off the end of the latest posts list.

Kia Ora (NZ Greeting) Nik ... the question has been asked on many Photo Sites I have visited over the Years.
Many just Post and do not take part in "interaction" and Sites tend to stagnate. However, the Human reality of it all is ..."you look at mine and I will look at Yours" ... a Human Nature quirk
As for the ... I don't believe so.
Perhaps some Members are just not into the critique thing, I for one am not, and if I make a comment on someones Post, it is usually "interaction" even if I don't know about Technical good or bad, one can still say *hello ... that looks jolly good* ... or just a *salute* in recognition.
Then of course there is the friendship side ... People that nurture these friendships will get views, comments, they will get back what they put in.
I will now inspect Your recent Posting Young Man ... and if they are not up to scratch ... You will be punished!

i do see a lot of posted images to the forums and no replies, i have had a few, however i have also noticed that the ones that do get comments get lots possibly due to the fact that they are near the top of the new thead list, whereas if your post drops down the list, say 5 pages in, not many people search thro all the pages...

can't speak for anyone else but i usually only comment on the ones that grab me straight away!!!
So it could be a good pic or bad pic it just needs to stimulate me right from the off (oo err that sounds a bit dodgy....)
I must also agree that i am guilty of not going through all of the pages on all of the threads...
Also i think if you can't say anything good then don't say anything at all,unless it's something you feel is constructive criticism...
