Happy Valentines Hippy-Di!....enjoy every lick. No matter how modern and fancy we get now, on Valentines, nothing can compare to the absolute magic it held for me as a young school girl growing up on the Canadian prairies. The sun always shone bright and the days seemed just abit longer and Valentines was a landmark that we reached for, to get through a stint of near unbearable cold. We felt like the scales were beginning to tip towards spring, which would be here in another 2 month, if we were lucky.

I suppose that it marks the downward spiral into winter here...shorter days and colder nights....hard to imagine with the weather we are having right now.

LOL Carol...nothing sinister in the title, when I opened the lolly it was already cracked and broken

......and a sucker is what the kids call them here.

Else, I'm so sorry to hear that you have a cold. Don't worry , if you cut and paste it you can have it all to yourself.......perhaps that will make you feel better lol
