Default Alloy wheels - attempt 2

Photographers Comments
Not sure this has really worked either, but had another go at trying to be creative with these wheels. Think my creative brain juices were running a little dry. Be happy to receive any comments, thanks.

Hi Lorraine great attempt at doing something with these, sad to say they just aren't doing anything for me even with your creative lighting ......... stick them on a car and set them free for their role in life me thinks

Nice effort. Try chroming the centres up leaving the coloured shading as a shadow. Still like it though.

Thanks for the comments guys, it was one of those, have a go and see what happens, it just didn't quite hit the happening mark on this occasion, but all attempts are great learning curves

Totally agree with Alistair. I admire your persistance in trying to get the shot how you want it.
Good for you for sticking with it. Not an easy project..

Loopy,

This is a good effort at a difficult subject, I like the three in a row the one at the back is slightly distracting. well done

hey Lou good effort!! i like it but it could just do with a touch more pp work. try darkening the corners more and aim the coloured gels onto the wheels more rather than the bg. the green looks fine as its soft but the pueple shadow is quite harsh..14" wheels?? whos car is on bricks now??
