Ok, as you know my primary camera is a Nikon D70s, but we bought the TZ5 sometime last year as a pocket camera.

Now, since I have been off work for the last five weeks, whenever I have taken the dog for a walk the TZ5 has always been in my pocket.

Bare in mind, we've had this camera over a year, and its a great compact in its own right, but pardon french here.... bugger me!!!!! I accidently found out today that it lets me do auto bracketing so I can create true HDR images rather than having to create extra exposures in lightroom!

I've attached some images to show, not fantastic since the weather was lousy, and I was on my way home again... LOL Look out for the rain splodges....

Am off out again shortly to give it some more welly!!!!! LOL

Amazing what you can do with a compact camera. I'd put my point and shoot up against most entry level DSLRs and expect better images from it. I think I prefer the first image.

I too prefer the first one - and to quickly point out all these hdr images were taken handheld. The images subjects are not up to much - it was pure experimentation.

Off out later (when I get my website finished LOL) to try more, put this time resting the camera on something (and if it doesn't rain again... LOL)
