Photographers Comments
This photo was taken near Baker City, Oregon at the Interpretive center. I think it illustrates the difficulties the early pioneers faced in crossing over the Oregon Trail. I cant imagine how uncomfortable the trip must have been in these small wagons that held the family, their possessions and their hopes and dreams...

I think it a fine way to illustrate Your short History on the Pioneers and the hardships they endured. Bravo! "Roll them Wagons!"

The older I get the higher my respect for the pioneer women grows....not that i don't respect the men but I realize how much the woman had to do AND bare children...Leaves me wondering what life would have been like for me. In a lot of ways, this vistas probably hasn't changed a whole lot
