Photographers Comments
I have taken my original moonshot and made 3 different exposure variations within P,shop before applying HDR tonemapping within Photomatix Pro. I thought I was pleased with the original, until I saw the result here.
What do you all think?
Regards....Phil

Wow how bizzare, I was sitting outside earlier looking up at the night sky and wishing I had a telephoto lens to shoot the moon.....and here it is in it's HDR glory. Brilliant Phil I'm really impressed!!!

Hi Roger, the focal length here was 300mm + 1.4 converter at f.8
this is equivelent to 420mm (672mm 35mm equivelent) @ f.11
the final image was cropped and enlarged further in p'shop before applying final process for the result seen here.

looks ace, i am having real trouble with mine though, if i use one image and use PS to take the exposure to +3 or +4 and -3 or -4 when i HDR merge those 2 new saved version with the original it just keeps saying not enough dynamic range and cancels, i ma sure i am doing everthing right as if i get my camera to bracket 3 shots with its max of +1, -1 the effect works

any help would be great as i love the look of this effect
