Default Digital photoframes

Hi all

I am buying a digital photoframe as a present for someone and would like some advice please.
1.Can you reccomend a particular make
2.Can you dowload photo's from a PC to a SD card and if so how.
Any advice will be very much appreciated.

Regards
Steve

Default Phot frames

I have a Philips, however they are expensive the things to watch out for are....

resolution, cheaper ones have poor resolution and the pictures no matter how clear look blurry. get one with decent resolution, mine looks great

size i have 7 x 5in which is great but a bit small, however the larger you go with better resolution it gets more expensive.

Memory some have internal memory or wi fi capability, so you dont have to connect to computer. However best to get one that takes memory cards and slot in a cheap SD card for around a tenner (1gb)

price-cheapest £50ish up to £500 if daft enough suggest really good one could be bought for say £75 upwards (cheaper on tinternet)

SD card, you just pick the photos you want in explorer from wherever they are filed on the PC in thumbnail view, pick them up and copy them to the SD card. that is only one of many ways but probably the easiest

Hope i have helped
