This image was taken using the camera self timer, then I positioned myself in the picture and fired three flashguns via infrared slaves units from my left hand which is out of site. This image earned me 1st place for best monochrome print at a recent caving conference.

Although this image has been in my gallery for a while, I thought that I would display it using the autopost posting system.

Hi Nik, its a totally different game doing photography in total darkness, every cave is different and flashguns have different effects depending upon how dark or wet the walls are. You just do not know just how much light has been sucked into the dark walls sometimes you just burn the image out and other times you get very dark pictures and occasionally you get it right as above.
