This one works so much better, composition is good and I like the branch in top left hand corner.

I know what you mean, I got about 10 (what I think are good) images at the Cerys Matthews gig, and could not decide which one to post.

Looked at both the original & your second shot Denny, and you know I prefer the original its got a real picture postcard feel to it. Why the no snapping rule?

Al it wasnt a no snapping rule, it was a NO ENTRY rule, the gates were open to let a car out, i walked in. Took some shots and then got asked to leave, the gates were locked and i had to be escorted out through the building via security doors e.t.c. So it is not even open to the public, so it is a rare shot!

Nice shot DB. I prefer the original shot, but your edits are good too.
Bloody stupid rule that you can't just go in and take some shots. At least up here in Scotland you are given the freedom to go pretty much anywhere as long as you respect the landscape and the privacy of those who own it (although some landowner's need to be reminded of the Scottish Access code!). I did a wee shoot at the historical Glasgow University yesterday and had free access to the grounds and some of the buildings (very 'Harry Potter-ish' Hogwarts style place)

I agree, mind you those Oxford establishments always paint a picture they are better than the rest. No public access to most of the buildings in Oxford i found, even though there are no students there at the moment. This guy had his walkie talkie all ready to call security if i didnt go quietly! Got my shots so i am not bothered!
