Really love the whole idea of this Josie. Very nostalgic, great atmosphere. The best bit for me is having the actual film displayed on the card beyond. A subject well worth exploring a lot.
The only down side is that it's all a bit dark. I know you probably want to retain the old fasioned picture house darkness for the surrounding room but perhaps a few strategically place small spot lights would enhance the projector without loosing the atmosphere.
Great subject, I'd love the chance of having a go with this
Cheers, Dave B.

Hi Josie, I like the idea that you are trying to capture, and I'm sure that there will be a good image here, but as 'Dave AKA Dave' said the projector is a bit too dark to make out, and his idea of selective lighting may well be the way forward. Keep playing with this as I'm sure there will be a excellent image from this subject.

Agree with Barry and "Dave aka Dave" although it wouldnt take a lot of light or you will lose the effect you are striving for. Good idea though, worth some more work and a nice subject.

Hello Dave, I did try to get the projector "more in the light" but all I had was a torch, and I had to cover that with tissue as it kept shinning onto the screen and spoiling the picture, I do have nother one where you can see more of the projector, took ages, I tried candles but that didn't work, but I thank you for your lovely comments, it was worth it all...

Hello Barry, As I explained to Dave, I only had a torch to light it with, but I might upload the other one I have, I do need some decent lights, but I actually hate photographing indoors, "What was I thinking", we all have moments like this I'm sure, thank you very much for your comments, much appreciated.
