Default Black Country Coal Cart Silhouette

Photographers Comments
Taken at the Back Country Museum, wanted a silhouette against the sky but this left the foreground dark dis some work with a gradient tool in Lightroom 2 to brighten foreground and bring cloud detail out. Cart used to ship coal from minehead in victorian times.

I think this might have worked better if the trees in the background weren't there, as its hard to make out the object on the right of the frame.

Shooting from a lower angle might have helped. Or contacting your local friendly tree surgeon...

Point taken, or i could have moved slightly right. My excuse is my daughter was harassing me to hurry up! Might do again on a return visit.

Good subject, agree with Paul about the trees.
It's a good day out at the Black Country Museum, this was one I took last year with my Kodak Compact, viewed from the other side.
Same here, will have to go back again and take the SLR
