I tried to do a pano a while back .. and for some reason .. the ocean doesnt look straight .. is it suppose to look that way or .. whatt?? lol ..

Hi else, when you do panoramas the process of panning the camera round as you take the shots does cause a curve in the shot. I think this has happened here. More difficult but next time turn the camera to portrait and take more shots (because they are narrower) You the then have more to crop and also the image should be straighter.

In the software ensure you set the horizon on the sealine, and the focal length accurately al will help to straighten the image and prevent curves. Nice attempt though Else.

Hi Dennis .. Thank you for that information .. and I will try that the next time I try to do one .. I am finding I am far more successful using the G7 .. taking panos .. Next time I will try using a tripod as well .. I am sure with taking it portrait style and with a tripod .. should really help me ..
