Its only my opinion but I would like to see this without any colour popping.
You seem to have HDR sorted and its not an easy subject as you need as much camera knowledge as you do with the software.
It might be that this is what you wanted as far as the results go but it’s a very subjective subject.

Original HDR below - I thought it was a tad overcooked personally, so tried a bit of colour changing.

Hi graham, i prefer the first one the second one just looks to unreal for me. People do HDR all different ways, if i have a go i try to recover lost detail in shadows and highlights that you cant see under normal exposure and to keep it natural. My personal preference i know, spooks does loads of HDr and he tends towards your style but not as cooked. wonder what he will say if he spots it??

Spotted it

I too prefer the first one (its brought the car detail out lovely) but the bg etc is a little too overcooked for me (thats just my opinion).

Quick suggestion, if you not mind, Graham..... Create two separate HDR files - one with the car as you have it, and another for the background, but tone it down a bit, then merge the two together - hopefully you get best of both worlds.

It been mentioned before, and I tend to agree, but greens and yellows with HDR for some reason go manic. Would you mind posting the original photo (not hdr'd) would love to have a little play around with it....

PS, Graham.... <whispers> I got 07 reg focus.... lovely cars aren't they... LOL
