Lock Mooring Point
Photographers Comments
Nor sure what it is called but I quite liked it as a detail on the lock side.

From dim and distant memory, i think they are called a mooring lug or hitch. The detail on the said object is good and like the rusty bits. The lock doors in the background help identify its watery origin but dont add a lot of interest to the image, i may have got in closer and filled the frame. Just personal preference i know.

Cheers Denny, thanks for your comments. My greatest concern with these was a paranoia about tripping over one and ending in the canal!
