Hi Brian, I have just brought one of these as a Christmas Present for the Mother in Law, so I have done a bit of research on these, you will want to go for as high as resolution as you can for the size of the frame. I brought a 7inx5in frame with a resolution of 720x480 pixels as when you compared it against some of the cheaper models with lower resolution you could see the pictures pixelating (bad spelling). So I would recommend that you go to somewhere like PC World who will have the frames working so that you can see the differences in screen quality, also some of the frames rely on a memory card to display images so make sure that the memory card is in the back of the unit and not the side otherwise you will have the memory card sticking out all the time - not making it look pretty. I actually brought a Toshiba 7in display model with a 16MB internal memory for £89.99 from PC World.
