Default Moon shots

does anyone have any hints or tips for taking moon shots? I have tried but failed several times I would love to be able to get shots of the moon

Basically, you are looking for moony 11, which is a modified sunny 16. If you want to take a picture of the moon and hold detail, set your apature to f/11 and set your shutter speed to one over your film speed. So if you at ISO 100 set your shutter to 1/125 second.
