selling pictures.

Hi, I am at last going to sell some of my shots, never done this before, what's the best way of doing this?...I don't fancy doing my own printing, I just dont seem to get the time and decent enough printers are quite expensive..
what is folks experience of online selling ?

Hi Jason, I have sold a few images from my website, I accept payment via Paypal and use Photobox to print. I have never set out to really sell images but it is nice to know that somebody likes some of my work.

There is a website called Alamy, where subject to images/files passing their criteria and quality control set up, you receive 65% of any sale made. The site is free of charge to join and upload photos to, and they will even help with pricing etc. I've got an e-mail from a friend who's nephew works for the company that explains a little more with a link if anyone would like me to forward it to them. Hi Barry and Lorraine, I guess it is quite flattering and encouraging to know that poeple like your work and hang it on their walls, A bit of a photographic ego boost I guess LOL.
At this moment in time I don't think I have my mind sert on making millions LOL, It would be nice to make a few quid to upgrade equipment etc and know that my work is liked enough to be hung up on their living room walls etc.
