General Photographic Chat

If anyone is interested there are a couple of excellent 'free' photo opportunities in the next few weeks in the North East.

July 4th & 5th - International Kite Festival - Washington (loads of car parking and easily accesible from Newcastle by bus).
July 25th & 26th - International Airshow on the sea front at 'the Dark Place' (ie sunderland). Absolutely unmissable - two days of fly pasts and Navy demonstrations.
July 25th & 26th Americana Music Festival - Sage Gateshead. The last 2 years have been fantastic with sunshine, great music and expensive beer.
9th August - Sand Sculpture event (2-4pm) Seaburn beach nr. 'the dark place'.
9th August - Birds of Prey at Herrington Country Park, nr Penshaw Monument, Washington.

....my favourite! 'The Drakes of Hazzard'????? Sheepdog and....daredevil ducks display???? Unmissable surely. Herrington Country Park.
