Ahhh the old debate continues.... my take on the Nikon/Canon thing is this.....

Canon has indeed led the DSLR market for quite sometime mainly because of Nikon's poor low noise performance but there are pros and cons with both manufactures. Nikon has really upped the stakes with the D3 and D300, you only need to trawl the many posts on the D3 and D300 across the net to find that out.

But ultimately, now Nikon has sorted their act out, Canon are going to be looking at new innovations just as much as Nikon will as the competition is now huge between companies. This now means both end users of Nikon and Canon will benefit because of the further advancement in technology for the market leading stakes and progress is always good!

If there wasn't any competition, I don't think either company would have progressed to where they are today in terms of technology which is handed back to us in our new camera bodies.

As a Nikon user, I've stayed with Nikon purely because of the lens collection and now the Nikon engineers are finally on the right road with not only the D3 but also the D300 it has made a huge amount of people very happy indeed and my patience with Nikon has finally payed off so for the 1st time, in a long time, I'm an extremely happy chappy!

@Andy - Let me know which shot of Becky mate and I'll mail you the raw file for you to take a look at.
