Default Christmas Wish List

Whats on your wish list for christmas ?

I would like a macro lens. But don't know which one to go for.

I would also like an SB - 600 flash.

So what would you like Santa to bring you this year ?

If money was no object for little old Santa then like you it would have to be a good macro lens. Macro photography is something that I've put to the back of mind so far and would love to start experimenting with this type of photography.

The new Nikon D3 and D300 is coming out soon and they would be nice additions to my kit to replace my two D200s.

ummmm, what else is there? Ah yes, a Metz MZ5 flashgun would nice too.

I'm going to be so disappointed if Santa doesn't see this wish list

Interesting choices Paul. I have done some Macro work in the past with my old compact and I want to get back into it as soon as I can. That is one aspect of photography I really do have an interest in.

No sorry, I need the two! I keep one as a backup or should say my 200mm VR sits on it when I shoot weddings and my 17-55mm on my primary body. Even when I'm not shooting weddings, it's handy to have a there just in case the other dies.

If I do decide get rid of one or both, I'll let you know.

You looking at the new D3 too? Looks like an awesome piece of kit!

Would really like to see some of those pictures if you have any available to upload to the gallery. I feel I am missing out on lots because I do not own a macro lens.

I've seen some absolutely amazing macro photography lately and now I'm itching to give it a go.

I think it would have to be a lottery win before I get my hands on a D3 I’m just a very poor semi retired joiner/shop fitter

Awesome! Uploading is easy, just go into the gallery and you'll see an upload link just above the image search box.
