Oooh a D300, Sigma 10-20mm and an SB800 so I can use it with my SB600 as a slave.

Unfortunately I don't think any of that will be under my tree this year

Am intrested Paul you say you use a 200mm have shot a couple of wedding's what do you use this for candid shots or general only tend to use standard lens would be very intrested

Well I'm still looking at nice long telephoto lens, I was thinking of the Sigma 50-500mm lens but I have not seen any real sharp images at the 500mm end. So my other thought at the moment is a Nikon 300mm f4 lens (which gets very good reports being a prime lens)and a 1.4 converter. But if I have to wait for Santa then I will be waiting a long time

I have two bodies on me most of the time, one with a 17-55mm 2.8 which I use the most and another with the 70-200. I use big lens for a number things, detail shots, where I need the reach but mostly I use it for when I don't want to be noticed and be out of the way of the main crowd but be close enough to capture the real atmosphere of the occasion without the crazy photographer being noticed and no forced poses by people who feel they have too for some strange reason

I would love a Canon EOS 40D but I know it will not arrive as I received a Canon EF 70-200 F2.8L IS USM lens as a joint birthday and Xmas present in the summer!!

well, i hinted at a new model, but the Mrs wasnt to happy, i explained i needed one for photography purposes and she thought i meant glamour model, silly moo. i meant camera body didnt I!!! and i only hinted for a D80! i have the lenses and the sb-800 and 600 i require, just need a new body as im fed up of changing lenses!

if not a DJM800 would be suffice
