the world has gone mad, i must admit i get a bit anxious about taking my camera out with lots of people about in case they think i am up to something dodgy. What a sad world we live in some of the time.

I urge Photographers everywhere to resist Censorship.
Censorship begins at Home ... the UK Public being the most Photographed People in the World, thanks to CCTV (closed circuit television).
Troubled times have brought about these Laws ... and Internationally they are being abused.
Resist Censorship by others ... be Your Own Judge.
*salute* Tedz

How sad that things are comming to this, I watch Sky News every day and it just depresses me...I suppose what you see about SA could depress you too, thats the media circus we live in today I suppose
My kid's do lifesaving....the youngest(12) is a Nipper and I have taken hundred's of pic's of him competing in competitions here, not once have I been asked to stop, infact most other parents are doing the same thing or ask me for copies, I've never had to ask for a release form either. Also, in major comps there is an official photographer on the beach taking shots too, which can be purchased from an official web site.
The sad fact is that I don't take my camera out at certain places in case someone tries to nick it.............
Suddenly my glass looks "half empty",I shall have to go top it up!

A prime example of resisting Censorship, One just has to look at the recent
BBC retreat on Censoring the Cult Christmas Hit by Irish Band, The Pogues ...
*Fairytale of New York* (1987) The Song has been Playing since Adam was a Boy, however,
it was now deemed by the Station Controller, not suitable for Children to hear.
When Censorship is firmly embedded, it will be the Creative Ones in the Firing Line
for they may dare to resist.
As the Pogues Sang ... * happy christmas your arse/i pray god it's our last*
*salute*
