mate i have looked but can't find reciepts that go back that far, sorry. I think i used to use someone called lab 6, i really can't remember because i ended up doing my own processing, both mono and transparancies. It worked out much cheaper although time consuming.

Hi Andy,
Lab35, I think were part of the same group. I also have details somewhere. I shall try to dig them out. If I remember correctly, I think they were Leicester based, turn around was usually within 5 working days, print quality was pin sharp however the colours were sometimes over saturated (especially when printed on matt finish). Another good option, if you don't mind postal is Menor Photographic. Based at the Maltings in Sawbridgeworth Hertfordshire. Very good print quality and turn around. Ideal for fine art exhibition quality. Regards....Phil

If you take a look at some of today’s high end cameras leading to prints on modern papers using pro printers, through a good RIP, you'll be amazed. I agree that these combinations are seldom to be found in the home but when used together, to my mind with the like of CS3, the result out surpass wet prints by miles, perhaps with the exception of some individual printing genius’s that your not likely to find in a commercial lab. Weird I guess,... but I was barred from uploading shots taken with film on DPF
It didn't suite one lap dog, who complained to the administration. And the very same lap dog, who had all those biffles with our lady folk. He and another femail lap dog together were responsible for our Banned members. Sad really, Joseph |

thats really sad actually
some togs have only digital experience which is great. the more who get involved the better! however i love my Bronica and have uploaded a couple of shots from it. still have both my Eos 5's. There is something magic about being able to predict (and get it right!) light, exposure, shutter etc.. to do all of this without the aid of Software should be recognised still...I love images and am not too fussed how it came to be the magical end result..
