General Photographic Chat

My recent behaviour has been unacceptable. I have recently lost my small studio. My main clients (wine) have gone bust owing me thousands. I am at an all time low at the moment as are many togs. My apologies to all for any upset caused by my childish outburst a few weeks ago. My brain is fried and the bills are mounting. I am struggling to deal with it so please cut me some slack. One week I am making a ton of money the next I am not. You are all wonderful people on here. So nice and positive in attitude. I feel mortified about my flare up and hope you can understand it was nothing personal. Merely a pressure release for me. I am probably not making any sense...Just know it is sincere.
I have been forced to go back into employment in order to pay the bills. For how long I do not know. i just hope you can forgive the pathetic outburst and give me a second chance to rejoin the community.

Sorry guys. really I am. If none of this makes sense...its because I have necked a bottle of rum... I really don't know what to say.,.

I didn't see the outburst but can totally understand the stress and anxiety you're feeling. Know that you're not alone. I hope that things improve for you soon.

At the moment I'm in a job I hate along with many I'm sure and experiencing some problems with my employers and it's causing me no end of stress. You just have to be positive and focus on the good things in your life like family and friends. Those are the things that stand the test of time and give you heart when you pass through those dark tunnels.

Keep smiling Andy and keep taking those wonderful photographs and sharing them with us mere mortals. The Phototopix community is all the richer for great mods and photographers like yourself

Can't say i know exactly what your going through but i know from expereince the answers not at the bottom of a bottle,live for the good bits and i'm sure it'll get better in time,take care shag...

This recession is hitting all business and the roll on effect hits us all eventually. Sorry to hear that you have lost some of your clients through this, but at least you have managed to find some employment which will pay the bills. And hopefully you will find another outlet that will require photographic work soon, where you will be able to start doing what you enjoy again.

Hi Andy, first I've heard of your outburst - never saw it.
I know this, you're a top bloke with a huge talent and your work has truly been an inspiration to me.
Tough times don't last but tough people do. Count your blessings Andy, and never give up on the things that matter to you. Anyone who knows you will forgive your outburst. Whatever you said, it's done now, so keep looking forward and always look for the positive. Things will turn around eventually and you'll still have your talent when they do.

I too never saw the outburst but even still if we cant let off steam to who we think and know are our friends where can we? TCO, your missed and respected and wish you all the best for the future, the world is in a c--p place at the moment lets hope it sorts itself out soon.
