Default Photobox

I have not had to use Photobox for a little while, but I have just ordered 6 of 10in x 15in gloss prints for a competition where I needed 3 entries. And 3 of the colour prints seemed to be very flat with no punch in the colours at all, I have never had this problem before yet the other 3 were ok (2 monochrome and 1 colour). I did however notice that they are now using Kodak paper instead of Fuji paper, I will be contacting them about this, but wondered if anyone else has experienced the same problem just recently.

I think that my last order was about 4 weeks ago and that was on Fuji paper, but the prints which got delivered yesterday was on Kodak paper.

Quality superb last year and they were the most popular presents i gave away. People loved them as i tailored them to suit what i knew they liked from my pictures. Hope the quality as good this year now.

I have to admit Barry, when i first used them i still wasn't convinced even though the print quality was good, the colours looked muted and contrast a touch done but that was on Fuji paper..having worked for a Kodak registered Qlab for 7 years i like my kodak paper as i knew how to print on it..not had any orders for a while so cant comment on their kodak image quality as yet..having said that, their service and prices are hard to beat so i will be using them again..

Hi Andy, As you know I have been very impressed with Photobox over the years, so hopefully this is just a one off bad print run (which considering the amount of prints they must produce, there has to be a couple of off images). Anyway I will be contacting them and see what they say, as I want to continue using them as there service is so good.

Hi Barry, had 6 A3 prints off them on Kodak paper, no trouble at all. Have to admit I was very impressed with them. Also had some A3 Photo books done for presents and the quality is superb. Give them a ring, they will do them again for you.

Hi Paul, I sent them a e-mail last night, so hopefully I will hear something back, either later on to-day or tomorrow.
