Gen, Loxley have been super nice to me and do everything possible to ensure satisfaction. The metallic prints are way better the graffi's..so much depth and in mono they look mind blowing.
They have their own software 'loxley designer pro' which is simple to use and has tons of templates for album design. At the moment I am using fotofusion and indesign. I do my spreads and drop them into LDP. I have a wedding next week and I am going to use LDP solely to see how it looks.
If you want sample prints, loxley do them free of charge. I think they only deal with pro shooters for the wedding stuff so you should be fine. Really nice people. I stand corrected A wilscher. Loxley rock the big bananas!!!! Thanks for the heads up.

thanks TCO gonna put some work there way now... your the dogs bits mate been looking for a better quality but not pish take printer for a while ... i owe you a pint

I have ordered 250 6x4 prints from photobox and mine have come back very very dark, and the colours look slightly de-saturated too, now i have calibrated my monitor with a Spyder 2 and on my canon i9000 the prints look superb, should i be complaining or is it my fault?

Photobox do not automatially adjust any colours, what you send them is what you get back. It took me a while to adjust my monitor to suit their printers. Although this is still not 100%.

So after you adjusted your monitor did these images look darker or lighter.

but thats the trouble i have calibrated my monitor and dont want to change it, my printer wont work then, i have had a refund and im trying a new place now, dscl see what they produce

I will be very interested in who you choose next and the results that you get, but I can't complain about Photobox's aftersales service, as you have found out by getting a refund if not happy with the image quality.

Well I have my prints back from DSCL and what a difference they are much brighter and not desaturated very quick and also cheaper! definitely a thumbs up from me
