Absence!!!

Have not been around much lately as the Laptop is playing up big style again (Harrumphh) have had to give in and take it to a shop (first time ever BUGGER) and apparently Windows is in the process of eating itself???

So as i will lose everything by reinstalling Windows i have decided to start afresh and have ordered a 17"/ 3G ram/ 320G hardrive/ 2.2Ghz Cpu/ 2Mp Cam /core 2 duo Laptop...

So hopefully will be back up and running a million times faster in the next couple of weeks and if anyone's interested??? will be restarting the Image Factory challenges again (No Photoshop for ages now!!!)...

I hope it isn't a Sony ... as I see on BBC World Report this morning that there is a Global recall of their new Laptops.
Also I was dismayed to learn via the BBC, that one in seven Laptops conk out during the first Year ... usually due to being dropped or a liquid spill.

Hopefully all Your troubles will be over and You can start anew

Steve, you & me both !!! My pc took 3 hours to edit some pics & I decided enough was enough, so got an Advent qc4001, 2 quad q660 2.4 3gb & 320gb hard - had it for 48 hours, dvd would not burn !!!
Now have an HP with 3gb & 500gb HD.
so hope to get going again soon ..
