Nice documentary shot Mate.
The B&W doesn't work for me though, as you always think of narrow boats being really colourful things and would have liked to have seen that...

Interesting thought Mello.

The reason this is in B & W is that I'm collecting a few images for an "Urban Decay" kind of thing, where the urban/man made stuff around is crumbling etc.

I'd planned all of that to be B & W and I thought this shot would fit in with the mood so I went for B & W without thinking.

I've just gone back to the Raw shot and the boat is mainly black/grey and the floats protecting the weir are very orange and quit distracting.

So just to throw a spanner in the works,have you thought of selective colour??? with just the orange floats showing???
