Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf?
I thought from the Thumb it was a Pen ... but now see it is the insidious powder.
Certainly in the right place ... Documentary and Photojournalism ... part of the Urban Landscape now.

and presumably indivduals are not either - as she committed suicide.

A well executed image, with a clever message. Good composition.

I'm going to be very frank here: I HATE THE GOD DAMN STUFF. I could write an amazing, amazing book on how this has affected my family. Happy to say that my daughter is still alive..she's getting her children back (who were removed and put into an even worse position), she's back to herself, being even more beautiful and a hell of alot wiser. She will be the first one to say, "This is a soul stealer"

Hi Fay,
Thanks very much for your really honest and open post, this image isn't intended to do anything other than provoke a reaction and encourage discussion, understanding perhaps. Humans are fragile and we find leaning posts, diversions, obsessions, to help us through, sometimes they're not as much fun or as harmless as we might at first convince ourselves they are. I'm building steadily on this as a theme and area of 21st Century life that I'm keen to document.
So again, thanks for sharing.
Gary
