Lennox Castle - RIP
Photographers Comments
On Monday, 19th of May 2008 Lennox Castle in Lennoxtown was sadly severely damaged in a devastating fire.
The impressive mansion house was already in a poor state after years of neglect and vandalism, but it is feared that the damage from the fire will result in the castle being demolished.
This HDR image of the castle during the blaze is my tribute to its memory.

Very nice, and a good image for your HDR effect. Although I do find the left hand tree a bit dark.

Unfortunately there wasn't too much i could do about the tree, as it is actually a deep purple/red colour. The printed version of the image shows the detail a little better

I really like this - almost looks like the building is on fire! I agree with Barry about the tree, but still nevertheless its a cracking image

Such a shame to see buildings like this end this way, they have seen so much, and hold so many secrets,a great portray of its last hours.
