Whilst exploring an old derelict building i found this old newspaper lying on a desk and thought it added a little edge to the scene.

Like it Paul. The processing is good and you've captured the derelict, abandoned feel very well and the newspaper is a brilliant touch. Really like your creativity

I would be interested to know how you get this effect - it looks as if you have plastered it on with acrylic paints! Very creative and edgy.

It's done using a mixture of tecniques. First, a high-key HDR image was created from the RAW original, which was then treated with the Orton Effect to soften it and give a kind of 'dreamy' glow to the scene. The shadows on the wall caused by bright sunlight streaming through the smashed windows help pick out the texture on the walls.

Thanks for that, Paul. I thought that was how you did it. I've tried it myself, but you do need to get the right image - as you did here.
